Early on we found the Parelli school of horse management to be wonderful.
Later, we learned even more.

We moved on to particularly like seminars conducted by a quiet, sensitive, mellow, singing cowboy, Mark Rashid.

then received addtional help from Lizz Graves a Minnesota based gaited horse specialist.

Just like any kind of learning or shopping, you have to chose for yourself.

We ended up with custom made saddles. Can you guess why?

Fight or flight??? Trust is a big issue. So is the comfort that comes from knowing your equipemtn and who is in control.

Patience, bonding and knowing your horse works!

Watching our Granddaughter summon her horse "Ace"
by just beckoning with her finger will make almost anyone a believer. Then sitting in a lawn chair with my wife calling a horse by name, seeing the horse come time after time on request has to make you a believer.

What wonderful animals!
